If you use your blog to market your online income business then blogging regularly is absolutely essential if you want to get ahead of your competitors. Just check the blogs of your competitors and you will see that the really successful ones are those who keep their blogs up to date with fresh relevant content.

To do this can become very time consuming so here are some thirty minute strategies that can get you going successfully and will not take too much of your time.

1.  Many internet marketers start out by blogging daily but rapidly lose interest because of the effort required to do this even though it is of paramount importance and will pay off in the future, especially as the content grows on your blog.

By setting a goal to add fresh content to your blog a minimum of three times a week, and sticking to this, you will be well ahead of many other internet marketers.

2.  If you find it difficult to get new content for your blog consider hiring someone to write blog articles for you or buy maybe 15 articles at a time that you can just copy and paste  into your blog at three day intervals.

Another option is to buy PLR articles that you can rewrite and claim as your own. None of these articles need to be longer that 250 words.

3.  Add graphics to your blog to liven it up. There are many affiliate programs where you will be able to get graphics to use or you can get images from Google. You tube is also an option and you can get videos directly from them to download to your blog.

4.  Use Onlywire.com and the social directories in it. This way you can quickly bookmark your blog posts with just one click which can save you an enormous amount of time. The big benefit of bookmarking your posts is that it will help you to get backlinks and traffic to your blog.

If you are prepared to spend the thirty minutes three times a week following these online income success strategies I have given you here you will begin to see more traffic coming to your site which in turn will increase the amount of business you do and in the end that translates into cash.

If you are new to the internet marketing business and have just got your website set up and ready, you are going to need to market it by driving as much traffic to it as possible if you want to make any sales.

The best way to do this is to get listed on the search engines in a prominent position. The way that you will get listed prominently is by having lots and lots of back-links to your website.

Now you are probably wondering how to get these back-links to your website!

Originally one of the most popular ways was by using reciprocal linking. How this worked was by swapping links with other website owners, in other words, you would add a link on your site to their website in exchange for them doing the same for you.

The problem with this method though, is that people got carried away and were linking with sites that were totally irrelevant to the theme of their website and did not help to improve the experience of their website visitors.

Due to this excessive reciprocal linking Google decided to downgrade the reciprocal links. This does not mean though that all reciprocal links are bad. If you exchange links with a business partner, that link in all likelihood will enhance the quality of both your websites and should not penalize you in any way.

Today one way links are considered far more valuable as they are seen to be given voluntarily by the linking website owner. This doesn’t mean that the website owner is placing all these links himself from his site. A forum or an article marketing directory will allow contributors to place a link back to their website through a signature link or resource box at the foot of an article they have written.

There is another method you can use to increase the back-links to your website, and this is through link baiting. This is an especially attractive strategy as it relies to a large extent on using creativity. If you possibly can, try to inject some humour or personality into your blog posts and articles and get into the habit of bookmarking all your blog posts and website articles.

By doing this there is more likelihood of other bloggers picking up and commenting on your article. Other bloggers are always on the lookout for interesting stuff to comment on and will quite happily link out your story. If your article contains good material other bloggers will debate on it which will increase your back-links. Try to find an insight or something that may be of special interest to others and you will have some powerful link baiting material.

Don’t be afraid to link out to good quality websites. This is what all the really good bloggers do. By linking out, you are making the internet experience far more valuable for your visitors and by giving away links without worrying too much about reciprocity you will in turn attract more links to your own website.

So enjoy the experience, read other peoples blogs and leave your link there. Visit forums and make useful comments and you will start to build the kind of back-links that will generate many visitors to your site in a natural way and build a great internet based business.

If you are new to online based business, Twitter is a great tool to use to become known in the internet marketing world. So what is Twitter? It is a social networking service that is free to use and it works like a kind of mini blog. The main aim of Twitter is to turn the mundane everyday activities that we perform and our momentary thoughts into snippets of information that we can share with others on the internet.

What makes Twitter different from other social websites is that they have realized that what is happening to us right now is of interest to other people and gives us an opportunity to reveal different aspects of what is happening to us on a day to day basis.

The best thing about Twitter is that it is really simple to use. Signing up is easy you just need to go to twitter.com, click on the get started button and join. Fill in your details as required and add a photograph if you have one and you are all set up.

Now you are probably wondering what you would use Twitter for. At the top of your Twitter homepage you will see this question “What are you doing?” Below the question is an empty box where you can post your reply using the maximum of 140 characters. You can post anything you like into this field such as commenting on something that you have read or seen or anything that may be of interest to others. What makes this site so popular is that you can add a link back to your own website or blog.

After you have written your message all you have to do is click on the update button and your message will appear at the top of the page and also on the pages of anyone who is following you.

Now that you are all set up and are posting messages, the next thing you will need to do is get followers. The question is how to do this. One way  is to click the “Find People” link at the top of your Twitter homepage. You will then find several options for selecting people that you would like to follow. Look for people who have the same interests as you, particularly your business interests and start by following them. Very often when you link to follow someone, they will return the favor and this is how your network will start growing.

Once you start following people you will be able to see who they follow and who is following them. If you want your network to expand you can choose to follow some of them as well.

Whenever somebody you are following posts an update you can send them a reply that your other followers will be able to see and this is an excellent way to strengthen your network so don’t neglect to do this. You
can also reply to someone in private by clicking on the message link in the right hand column.

Many internet marketers were quick to take advantage of this powerful way of promoting their online based businesses but it is also of vital importance to remember that Twitter still follows the rules that also apply to other social networking sites. Do not spam and always make sure that your updates offer something of value. If you fail to follow these rules you will be banned. Even if you are not banned people will stop following if they realize that you are posting or commenting merely for the sake of it and that it is a waste of their valuable time.

Twitter is a great tool to use for internet marketers. It is fun, fast and effective and will help tremendously towards building your online business.
