Running an online marketing business is pretty much a full time job and one of the biggest benefits of working with an outsourcing agency is that they can save you a great deal of time. They are already set up with a group of people who work as outsourcers, people that they have tried and tested and who have proven that they are capable of handling the assignment and also who among the group is available and can complete the task in the time frame that is required.

Another great advantage of working with an outsourcing agency is that you will only have one point of contact to manage all the projects that you choose to outsource. This can make a huge difference in the amount of time that you are likely to spend emailing back and forth when setting the project up, as you will simply need to direct your comments and queries to just one person.

There are also some reasons why you may prefer working with independent freelancers and here are some of them.

The first point is that with an independent freelancer there is no middleman so it could be less expensive. Working through an outsourcing agency you will be paying for the freelancer as well as an agency markup fee. The reason that you have to pay a fee for their services is that they have done all the ground work for you by finding and screening the people you are using to do the required marketing tasks for your online business. It is possible that you could still spend the same amount of money or even more when you outsource directly with a freelancer, but you could be getting a better quality of freelancer for the extra cost, by cutting out the middleman.

When you work directly with an independent freelancer the biggest benefit is that you can speak directly to them and although you may not have a central point of contact as you would if you were working through an agency, you have the advantage of ensuring that there is nothing lost in translation when you ask for particular modifications or changes or when it comes to providing the initial project guidelines.

For the majority of people marketing their businesses online, it will always be necessary for them to outsource certain aspects and tasks. The question that each person needs to ask themselves is whether they would be better off working with an outsourcing agency or if they would be more comfortable working with an independent freelancer.

Both of these options have their own benefits and possible drawbacks and it really is a matter of personal preference. Generally speaking, if you are good at interviewing and you are able to screen each freelancer effectively then saving the extra money that an agency would cost you may be well worth it. If on the other hand you are looking for a more hands free solution for the tasks you want to outsource, then it is worth paying the fee to an outsourcing agency as their service will allow you a lot more freedom and time for other things that you want or need to do for your online business.

There comes a point in every online business owner’s life when it becomes necessary to outsource at least some of the work required to run an online business. In the last few years outsourcing has become a popular topic; mainly because of the increasing number of people who are running successful home based online marketing businesses with the help of just one or two people. The question that is usually overlooked is whether it would be better to outsource to a professional outsourcing company or to an individual.

Here are some of the benefits and drawbacks of each and the ways in which they can affect your business.

The main difference between employing a professional outsourcing agency and using an individual is the relationship and the risks involved. What bothers many people during the whole outsourcing process is how they can be sure that they are getting the right people to give them high quality results.

Generally outsourcing agencies will try to minimize the inherent risk involved by establishing a group of qualified candidates with whom you can work. You will pay the fees directly to the agency for any work you require and they will in turn pass it on to the people with whom they work. In other words they act as an agent or middle man who has already interviewed and found high quality candidates so that you can avoid that whole process.

At the other end of the equation is the choice of working directly with a single person or possibly a small group of people. Keep in mind though, if you decide to go this route that there is a bigger degree of risk involved, particularly if you do not have sufficient skills or knowledge when it comes to interviewing them.  The main advantage with using this form of outsourcing for your home based online business is that you have an opportunity to build a personal relationship with them.

Trying to do all the necessary tasks required to run a successful online marketing business on your own can become very difficult and outsourcing is definitely an answer to this problem. It is a matter of deciding which route suits you best, using an outsourcing agency or doing the interviewing yourself and employing a single person or small group of people.

Remedies for your Online Business

This is a guest post from my friend Michelle I hope you enjoy it.

Online business is also known as internet marketing. It is the process of marketing your business products and services over the internet.  Marketing can be done via e-mails and wireless media, which help with brand awareness and increase the revenue and sales. Nowadays, many companies are endorsing their products and services online, but many of them are not getting the desired benefits, because of loopholes in their marketing strategies and tactics. Following are some tips which could help to eliminate those loopholes and allow your business to flourish online:

Show dedication: there are some people who start a job and never finish it; this is not acceptable, try to show dedication and don’t let it to fail.

Mindset for budget: most online businesses die out because of insufficient funds. Make a pact to yourself that every month you are going to spend some of your money on marketing. If such a situation arises whereby you that don’t have enough money to fund for marketing, you can opt for a short term loan (payday loan) which can save your online business from failure.

Inner circle support: For your online business to flourish you need online support, support of your family, friends and team member support; without this there’s a great risk of failure.

Don’t go for shortcuts: we can’t deny that there are many people who are earning millions online, by just clicking. But that requires a lot of knowledge and experience, so as you are a learner, it is better not to opt for shortcuts.

Do proper planning: The internet is changing at a very fast pace, it is really important to pre-plan to achieve your goals for online business and marketing strategy. Plan the goals for your sales, target audience, keywords and so on.

Develop a strategy: write down your mission, vision and develop a strategy to achieve them.

Find a mentor: the most obvious reason for the failure of online businesses is the lack of mentorship; to succeed in any new venture you need a successful mentor. Try to connect with someone who already has a successful online business or you could go for an online business franchise which could provide mentorship by charging some sort of fee.

Get training: the second most obvious reason as to why online businesses fail is the lack of training from mentor or your chosen internet business franchise.

By considering these points you could have your own well planned online business which could increase your sales, revenue and awareness about your brand.
